The Mac-Talla " Terra " ("Earth") perfectly reflects this element with its powerful peat smoke. The
Million-year-old peat is a distinctive feature of the Islay landscape. matured in
ex-bourbon casks and with aromatic 46% vol. bottled.
Tasting Notes:
A lot of peat on the nose , freshly burned down campfire, plus light citrus notes, the sweetness of quinces and
a bit of pepper.
Lots of smoke and peat on the palate , then a nice malty sweetness and some fresh oak notes. hardly any alcohol
noticeable.
Finish medium length, peat, malt candy and oak.
