WhistlePig 12 Year Old Rye combines American rye whiskey and old world wine casks. An experiment that gives this unmistakable rye whiskey its complexity. Born from the idea that a whole is always greater than the sum of its parts, a trio of different casks – Port, Sauternes and Madeira – are used for the finish, infusing the rye with their characteristic aromas. Similar to parts in a symphony, each of these distinctive characters come together in a blend.

Assemblage and origin:
