Nose : Very balanced and sweet, extinguished campfire, ripe plums, honeyed malt and creamy toffee, dark chocolate and vanilla.
Palate : Smoky-spicy and sweet-aromatic: The distillery character of pepper, a maritime smoky note and spices is skilfully complemented by the port casks: Dark fruits, berries, cherries and plums.
Finish : Long, memorable and full-bodied, an appealing dry smoke aroma, intensely reminiscent of cocoa, lingers on the tongue.
